This blog is as much about things I find interesting as work I've done recently, it'll vary between 'howto' style articles and just simple technical notes, my assumption is there's not much of a readership so I'm simply writing for myself, technical blogs are everywhere these days! I'm a bit of a jack of all trades, I like to dabble in everything. In the past few years, I've built applications in dotnet, django and even a iOS app in swift. I've configured and hardened linux systems and hosted applications on them using nginx, apache2 all the way to the opposite extreme of building professional CI/CD build and release pipeslines in Azure Devops where resources are deployed into a repeatable idempotent manner using BICEP.

I get my hands dirty with all kinds of tech and generally love to be continuously learning. I've also recently been dabbling in AI with generating test data for a spam filter service which I defined on Azure Language Service, using it's label classifier. It was an interesting bit of work as it involved programming (consuming the results of the API) through a dotnet core api, but also defining a pipeline to idempotently create azure resources then train and deploy models.

I've been a programmer since I was a teenager, I've been involved in building Trading systems at both large FinTech's and Fintech Startups, I've worked on Identity Management, Health Care, Computer Vision & Computer Graphics even most recently working with the Public Sector providing them with my expertise.
